The most high-performance of the Bavarian fairings becomes even more extreme: the power of 212 HP is confirmed, but the maximum speed increases to 314 km/h thanks to the aerodynamic updates inspired by MotoGP.

BMW M 1000 RR 2023: GP AERODYNAMICS
The technicians of the Munich company worked in the wind tunnel to increase the maximum speed without having to increase the engine power: in fact, the new M 1000 RR can now reach 314 km/h compared to the 306 km/h of the previous generation . The full carbon fiber fairings have a higher fairing to optimize the air flows that pass around the rider and the mouth of the air intake for the airbox is now slightly more rounded. Furthermore, the shape of the aerodynamic fins has been completely redesigned to generate greater downforce (and therefore load on the front wheel) both in a straight line and when cornering. The front section also gains additional ducts for brake cooling and a new, more covering mudguard, while the M 1000 RR Competition is equipped with exclusive M Aero wheel covers, a solution never seen before on a production motorcycle.
The Competition version adopts wheel covers to improve aerodynamics
BMW M 1000 RR 2023: ENGINE AND CHASSIS
The 212 HP of maximum power of the in-line four-cylinder has been confirmed which, as on the first generation of this extreme version, is characterized by titanium valves, lightened finger rocker arms, optimized camshafts, Pankl titanium connecting rods and an intake system with shorter and machined from solid ducts. For maximum performance riding, the chassis is always supported by a cutting-edge electronic section: riding mode, traction control, anti-wheelie, customizable engine braking, launch control and bi-directional electronic gearbox. All manageable through a 6.5" color TFT dashboard with OBD interface for the M GPS Datalogger and M GPS Laptrigger, accessories for a real racing motorbike.
